XL indeed !! I got this as a gift to my BBQ enthu husband as a father's day gift. Before buy this, please do not take this XL word lightly. The are indeed extra large gloves for big hands. The material of the gloves is silicone and will not let heat pass through it. The best feature in these gloves are the small stars on the gloves which gives a nice grip of whatever you are holding. We have used this for BBQ and for oven, it did it part well. Like the orangie color, great for outdoor grill. These gloves are easy to use and easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe but I prefer hand washing them. They are approved by FDA and BPA free. I like this product and will continue using it. Overall happy with the purchase.
